Technologist
Sandi Wassmer is a compassionate technologist, inclusive design radical, marketer, writer, speaker, Government adviser, meditator and occasional sleeper.
She believes that great UX integrates design, marketing and technology and skilfully applied has the potential to make the world a much happier place.
Her marketing led approach to digital communications is unusual for a geek, but it has helped her in leading the move of integrating design, usability, accessibility, web standards, user experience and other best practices under the umbrella of inclusive design.
Having run digital agency Copious for seven years, she decided it was time to give back wholesale and joined social care charity Jewish Care as Digital Services Development Manager in July 2014. She is also a Trustee of sight loss charity Action for Blind People, which is part of the RNIB Group.
