NN/g has a long history of thought leadership in design. Dr. Don Norman and Dr. Jakob Nielsen, two UX pioneers, founded the company in 1998. Among their other achievements, Jakob created the Ten Usability Heuristics and headed the discount usability movement, while Don coined the term "user experience" and wrote The Design of Everyday Things.
